Check out this hottie.. lol.. This is Brian on the nite of his birthday dinner at friends place in Orange... This is Cath standing beside him..She gave him a bag with clues to what his pressie was going to be from her and Richard.. First clue was a safety helmet and he was to try and guess what the meaning of that was towards his pressie and you guessed it he had no idea what the safety helmet had to do with it...

Finally worked this out
Well after bout an hour of tearing out my hair and annoying the crap out of Jodie my darling daughter to help me try and work out how to get back to the dashboard on here without having to keep signing in each time....
You know what I was doing wrong Jode, well once i got into my blog I added it to my favorites and it happened to be the page where you would go and read what has been goin on during our travels so naturally each time I clicked our blog it took me back to that same page so this time what I done was went in and signed back in to my dashboard and then I saved that one to my favorites after i deleted the first one and whalla now all I have to do is go into my favorites and clik on my dashboard blog and wham bam thank you mam im in like Flynn... LOL...
Got to get up really early in the morn like 3-30 am cause Brian is off for his balloon flight and big brave me will be following him in the support vehicle.. After the flight we meet and then have a great yummy brekkie, well im thinking it will be yumm yummm cause its costing us $44 for the both of us............

Arrive in Canberra today
Here are in Canberra now, well not actually in Canberra we are staying in the showgrounds here for $20 per nite. Pretty good really cause we have access to power, toilets and wait for it the best news is HOT SHOWERS.........WHOOO HOOOO now thats a blessing...
We staying a week in Orange with good friends of ours, and had a great time with Cath and Richard and the 2 kids. I cooked chinese steak and celery for dinner one nite for all of us..It was a bit hit with them all, oh apart from the kids they wouldnt even taste but thats kids for ya hey.
While we were there it was Brian's birthday so Cath and Richard shouted him a balloon ride here in Canberra. We had no intentions of coming this way but when he was given this gift voucher we really had no choice but to come this way..

Left Brisbane 15th October 2008
Well Brian and I left Brissy on the 15th October for our travels round and about Aus. Our first mstop was at Casino bout 140 kls. off the QLD border. Spent 2 nites there at the Casino Motorhome Village visiting motorhoming friends of ours. Had a lovely time with them and ended up buying a portable 80watt solar panel for recharging our batteries.
